Tasks: Graphic Design, Web Design, Photoshoots, & Promo Videos
The Hibachi, with two distinct locations in Kailua and Kaka'ako, sought to establish individual websites that shared a cohesive identity yet maintained their unique characteristics. As the chosen creative partner, my task was to design and develop two websites that would serve as "sister companies" with distinct personalities, reflecting the essence of each location while presenting a harmonious brand image.

To strike the right harmony between similarity and individuality, I began with a comprehensive style guide. This encompassed a curated color palette, matching fonts, captivating illustrations, and tailored icons. Utilizing a consistent graphic base, I adapted color schemes for each location, forging a visual link between the websites while preserving their unique visual identities.
To enhance the websites, I conducted on-site photo and video shoots in both Kailua and Kaka'ako, capturing each location's ambiance and offerings. This created exclusive image libraries and compelling promo videos for website intros, immersing visitors in The Hibachi experience from the start. The surplus visual content also fueled engaging social media campaigns.
The outcome was two visually stunning websites, maintaining a strong connection to The Hibachi brand. The cohesive style guide ensured a seamless brand experience. Engaging video and imagery enhanced online engagement, driving foot traffic to both locations. The Hibachi solidified its online presence and established itself as a distinguished dining destination on Oahu.
